Broad research topics: Community ecology, functional diversity, biotic interactions, benthos, biogeography, and macroecology.

Research interests: My research primarily focuses on coastal and marine ecosystems, often using benthic organisms as model systems in ecological studies. I am particularly interested in identifying patterns and understanding the mechanisms that govern the organization and maintenance of diversity across different spatial scales.

Projects: At MEG, I am a postdoctoral researcher in the ANCHIALOS project, led by Dr. Alejandro Martinez Garcia. My work focuses on understanding local and global patterns of groundwater diversity.
